As I was on my way to work, there was a swarm of pigeons next to me. You might think, what do pigeons have to do with makeup? Usually, they don't. With the exception of this look. Believe it or not, this look is completely inspired by the beautiful swarm of pigeons. Pigeons come in all shapes, sizes and colours. I was taken back by the gorgeous array of holographic colouring they have around their neck!
- MAC Fig.1 Eyeshadow: blended until the crease with a fluffy brush. Applied until I was satisfied with the intensity. Also, this eyeshadow was blended into the eyebrow, for a messy look.
- MAC Blue Brown Pigment: applied to the inner and outer portion of the eye, using a flat synthetic brush.
- MAC Show Gold Highlighter: applied to the tear duct and centre of the eye. Applying it in the centre, will give the eye a halo effect. Because Blue Brown has a holographic effect to it, applying Show Gold in the centre will enhance that. To be honest, I feel like Show Gold also has a very soft holographic effect as well.
- MAC Indian Ink Eyeshadow: applied to the outer corner and lower lash line to give the eye a smokey effect.
